The Festival is anchored by Tapestry Dance Company’s Rhythm Showcase (special guests TBA) and Friends In Time the festival's faculty performance with the Soul to Sole Jazz Trio at Austin's Rollins Theatre at The Long Center for the Performing Arts.
Past Soul to Sole festivals have hosted numerous legendary tap dance artists including; Fayard Nicholas of the Nicholas Brothers, Arthur Duncan (The Lawrence Welk Show), Jeni LeGon the original “Minnie the Moocher;” pioneers such as Brenda Bufalino, Sarah Petronio, Dianne Walker, Jane Goldberg, Heather Cornell and more along with dozens of contemporary leaders in the field including Michelle Dorrance, Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards and Tapestry's own Nicholas Van Young.
