Josh is a choreographer and instructor originally from Atlanta, Georgia. Josh started dancing at the age of 8 years old and grew up as a competitive dancer as well as graduating from the Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing as a member of their elite musical theater touring company. Josh began his choreographic career at that time and was honored at the National High School Dance Festival at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Josh attended the Bachelor’s of Fine Arts program in Dance at the University of Florida and wrote and directed his own show to be accepted in the Florida Player’s New Works Festival. During his time there, Josh worked with contemporary modern choreographers such as David Dorfman, Michael Foley, Neta Pulvermacher, Ann Liv Young, The Limon Dance Company, and many others. He also trained in Israel with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company and the Bat Sheva Dance Company. Josh has also worked with the Bates Dance Festival in Lewiston, ME. Josh’s commercial credits include Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, LL Cool J, B2K, and Usher. Josh has been a Teaching Artist at the ZACH Theater and also serves as a judge for Believe National Talent and Applause National Talent Competitions.
