Founder's Scholarship
The founders of Tapestry Dance Company, Acia Gray and Deirdre Strand, developed a program to assist students whose families are unable to afford quality dance education. This program is open for applicants ages 9 to 18 and celebrates the language of dance that can only be shared from one dancer to another. This supportive artistic community allows these young dancers the unique opportunity to pursue their dreams.
Currently, the scholarship outreach program serves only a small portion of the applicants. Of the four students on scholarship, three are unsubsidized. Our goal is to reach out to more young dancers and offer them a friendly, nurturing environment in which to train and experience the artistic world of dance.
